22/10/2008 | Training Session with Mr Ridley V degree

The club was very pleased to welcome Mr I Ridley, V degree, to take a training session for us on Saturday 25th October. The training was open to adult students of all grades and junior students of red belt and above.

Those who had not met Mr Ridley before admitted to feeling rather nervous before the session, (as did some who had met him, though for different reasons!) but Mr Ridley quickly put everyone at ease and ran a brisk, purposeful lesson. The time flew by and the only clue that the three hours of training were nearly over was our tired limbs.

Enormous thanks go to Mr Ridley and his family for making the long journey to visit us. Praise also goes to the students in attendance, who worked hard and conducted themselves impeccably in the company of one of our most respected senior instructors. Well done to all.
